Reading the other condolence messages, it is evident she was very well liked and did an awesome job as a corporate librarian. It is difficult to lose a sister, and she was so young. I hope you will remember all the good times you had together. I will pray for you and your family!

Condolence: My sincere condolences to all of Christine's family, friends, and colleagues. This is unbelievably sad. I worked with Christine many times over the years that I was at Alcoa, and I really appreciated her enthusiasm, and her drive for thoroughness and excellence. We became good friends, and she was always keen for me to try some of the new teas that she had purchased. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Condolence From: Shannon Dye
Condolence: I enjoyed working with Christine during the early days of separation, she handled what seemed like a monumental task with efficiency and good humour and appeared to give her ‘New Alcoa’ customers the same care and attention as those from ‘Arconic’. I had the pleasure of meeting her on my trip to Pittsburgh last year and am genuinely sad that I will not have the opportunity again. My condolences to her colleagues, friends and family on behalf of us all in Australia. Best Regards, Shannon Dye, Alcoa of Australia

Condolence From: Kathy Allen
Condolence: I am so deeply saddened by this news. Although I didn’t know Christine “face to face”, I had a longstanding email- and telephone-relationship with her through our roles as Librarians for Alcoa. Christine was for so long my “go to” source for information outside of my expertise, and her help was always cheerfully and professionally given. During the recent company separation process I have been hugely admiring of Christine’s capacity to take on any challenge thrown her way, and to get the job done. At this end, we would have been lost without her generous guidance. Her generosity extended so far as to give me her home phone number so that I could call her out of office hours, should I require it. This is truly a huge loss to Arconic, and to her former colleagues who are now on this side of the fence. My condolences to all who knew her. --Kathy Allen, Research Librarian from Alcoa of Australia

Condolence: I've been struggling with the words I can use to express my sorrow to Christine's family and friends. Chris and I were friends. We went to school together and had the good fortune of going on wonderful trips together like London and Paris. Very helpful that Chris spoke French and was able to order food for us . Christine's family was so important to her. And I know she will be missed by many including me.
