The first funeral home operated crematory in Indiana County since 2017
Whenever we’re faced with difficulties, we find comfort in those we know and trust. People we can count on to do their very best to help us. This is especially true when a loved one has died. If, at this very moment, this is your experience, please know the members of our professional staff are your friends and your neighbors. Each of them cares deeply about the people living in our community, and will become your ally during this time…and long after.
We gladly accept all life insurance, or previously planned pre-need funerals that were established at other funeral homes. You may transfer these plans to our funeral home at no cost. We will even visit with you and evaluate your current plans.
We are happy to provide guaranteed pre-planned policies through Homesteaders Life Company and NSS Life (some restrictions apply). For more information about pre-planning or transferring a previously planned funeral or cremation policy, click on the "Planning Ahead" icon above, or contact us today by phone.
Since January of 2017, we have been the only funeral home in Indiana County with an on-site human crematory. This means we do not transport anyone’s remains to an off-site location for cremation. Our licensed funeral directors are also certified cremation operators and are the only people who perform the cremations. No other funeral home in our service area can make that claim. Your loved one remains in our care from the time of our initial contact, throughout the cremation process, and until the cremated remains are ready to be returned to your family or taken to a cemetery or mausoleum for inurnment. Contact us today, or click on the "Learn More" icon below for additional information about cremation and to view a brief video about our crematory.
Contact us to speak to your club, social group or church group. We always welcome the opportunity to speak with small gatherings. In addition to answering questions from the audience about funerals and cremations, we'll engage the group in interesting conversations dealing with topics like: How many copies of a death certificate are needed; Communicating your final wishes to your family; How your family can actively participate with your funeral; and Identifying the information needed to complete a death certificate. We'll also cover many other topics of interest and we promise to keep a friendly and lighthearted demeanor while speaking with your members.
