Mike was a cousin on my Dad's side. I was the oldest grandchild, and Mike was sixteen years younger. We were together on a few occasions when younger, but because of the age gap, didn't have a lot in common. I remember him being a cute kid, and having musical talent. Recently, we became Facebook friends, and it was neat to reconnect with him after so many years! He had a great sense of humor, and made me laugh frequently. He always called me "Cuz." He fought leukemia and other medical issues, but never complained to me about his hardships, and there were many. I know he's with Jesus now, and I look forward to the day when we meet again and get to know each other better, and worship and praise our Lord together! I am praying for his family and friends, and understand the grief they are suffering. I love you, Aunt Polly and all the rest of my beautiful family.

Mike was my cousin. I am sad to say that we had lost touch since we were kids. I have found memories of Mike at Grandma and Grandpa Carney's house in McPherson KS. We had fun playing together and climbing the tree in the front yard. Wish I could have gotten a chance to know Mike as an adult. Sorry for your loss.

My brother has won the prize! Your heavenly home awaits. Death has been swallowed up in victory. Love you greatly. This world is less because of your departure. Heaven gains a great brother! I will not say "good bye" only "until then".
