Obituary for Arlene Mae Plassard (McCormick)
Arlene Mae (McCormick) Plassard, 105 years of age of Indiana, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Moorhead Place. Born, June 12, 1914 in Watsontown, she was a daughter of the late, Raymond McCormick and Nellie (Ritter) McCormick. She was the widow of James S. Plassard, her husband of 44 years and a World War II U.S. Army Veteran who died January 4, 1990.
She is survived by her three children: James R. Plassard (Vivian), Lafayette, IN; Suzanne Jamison, Indiana and Margaret Loutzenhiser (Louis), Pittsburgh. Arlene will also be remembered by her five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Arlene was the oldest of eight and was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three sisters and four brothers.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at eleven o’clock at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Indiana. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Service arrangements are with the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana.
