Donna Louise (Sturgeon) Bugay, 62, of Creekside, passed away unexpectedly at her home,
Sunday, October 1, 2023. Born in Punxsutawney on October 23, 1960, she was a daughter of
the late Luther Franklin Sturgeon and Mary Louise (McClinsey) Sturgeon.

Donna’s biggest love was her family and friends. She cherished every moment she spent with
loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She had a gentle and loving nature which embraced
not only family and friends but any animal or plant in her care as well. She had a passion for
taking in abandoned cats and kittens. She would bring them into her home, nurture them back
to good health and then find new loving homes for them. This is one of her many selfless acts
that truly shows how big of a heart Donna had.

She is survived by her sons: Kenneth, Chad and Daniel Bugay, all of Indiana; grandchildren:
Skye, Dylan, and Xander Bugay; siblings: Joyce Lucas (Daniel), Gipsy; Ruth Jarvie (Gary), Clymer;
Frank Sturgeon (Debra), Clymer; Dave Sturgeon (Kathy), Mahaffey; Richard Sturgeon, Mahaffey;
Ida Sturgeon, Barr Slope; Edward Sturgeon (Brenda), Sagamore and Margaret Esposti (Jim),
LaJose. Donna is also remembered by her longtime domestic partner, Max A. Zahoransky, Jr.,
Creekside. Other survivors include her many nieces and nephew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Kenneth Bugay Sr. and her twin Donald Sturgeon.
