Obituary for Donna Patricia Kline (Clinger)
Donna Patricia (Clinger) Kline, 88, of Edinburg, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 22nd, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born, March 8th, 1935 in Corsica, she was a daughter of the late Philip Clinger and Alberta (Snyder) Clinger. She was married to the late Robert “Lester” Kline for over 71 years. Donna died just two days after what would’ve been their 73rd wedding anniversary.
Donna’s life revolved around her family. She loved setting up at flea markets, yardsaling, going to the casino, and long drives with Lester; or making her special Mac n Cheese or Potato Soup for everyone on Sundays. She enjoyed playing cards and putting puzzles together with her granddaughters and going to get ice cream every day. Most importantly she just loved spending time with her family, whatever that looked like.
Donna is survived by her daughters: Cindy McGowan, of Portersville; Linda Sue Gearhart, of Dubois; Kelly Fulcher (Clayton), Loganville, GA; Tracy Kline, of Edinburg; and Jodi Allison (James), of Edinburg. She will also be missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Robert, and her parents; Donna was preceded in death by her three sons: Robert Philip, Patrick James, and Jeffrey Allen Kline; son-in-law, James McGowan; and 8 siblings.
In accordance with Donna’s wishes, her funeral service will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Clarion County on Sunday, September 24, at 1:30 PM with Rev. Tom Spiker officiating. The Kline family is being assisted by Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of the caregivers: Brianna, Cassie, Sheryl, Ruth, Traci, and Briese, who sat with Donna and loved her like family for the last two years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society: 628 Pearson Mill Rd, New Castle, PA 16101.
