Obituary for Edward W. "Eddie" Mumau
Edward (Eddie) Wayne Mumau, 47, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at his home. Born January 12, 1976, he was the son of Lenny Mumau and the late Francis (Franny) Ann (Broskin) Mumau.
Eddie attended Indiana Area High School, after graduation he went on to work for the family business as a welder and fabricator at Mumau Diesel of Shelocta.
He loved drag racing in his 1966 Chevy Nova. Eddie enjoyed putting puzzles together with his daughter Ashli, working in the garage with his daughter Caitlin listening to “garage tunes”, and shooting pool. But, above all nothing compared to his pride and joys Caitlin and Ashli.
He is survived by his children: Caitlin Mumau (20) and boyfriend Chance Buzard and Ashli Mumau (17), all of Indiana; and his father: Lenny, also of Indiana. He will also be missed by his brothers: Jeff and Terri Mumau, of Shelocta; Brian and Lavina Mumau, also of Shelocta; and Doug and Tanya Mumau, of Clarksburg.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6-8pm at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
