Edward G. Burtick, 84, of Indiana and formerly of Aultman, died Friday, March 15,
2024 at the Communities at Indian Haven. Born in Indiana, October 14, 1939, he
was a son of the late John Burtick and Louise (Kubala) Burtick.

A graduate of Laura Lamar High School, he earned his bachelors degree from IUP.
Edward worked as an Unemployment Tax Agent for the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, retiring in 2005.

He enjoyed playing his accordion, cooking for his family and friends, birdwatching,
gardening and fishing.

He is dearly missed by his children Beverly Dobbs (Roy), Sloan, NY; Anthony
Burtick (Ann Gillo), Cheektowaga, NY; Karen Mangino (Rob), Pendergrass, GA; and
Susan Cruz, Laughlin, NV. He is also remembered by his eleven grandchildren; by his two siblings Brenda
Leger, Aultman, and John Burtick, Indiana; and by extended family members Judy
Emigh (George), Penn Run, and Patti Gallo Murphy (Kevin Murphy), Bonney Lake,
WA.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his son, Christopher,
his brother Jim, and his longtime companion, Lucy Gallo.

Friends will be received Thursday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, the time of his
funeral service at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana (965
Philadelphia St.). Rev. Paul Dressler, OFM Cap will officiate. Interment will follow in the
Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
