Obituary for Eileen Marie Storms (Goff)

Eileen Marie (Goff) Storms, 76 of Hollidaysburg, entered her eternal home Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Sharon, PA June 26, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Ronald Clifton Goff and Mary Eva (Fey) Goff. She married Rev. Timothy M. Storms, July 22, 1967. She cherished their life together as husband and wife for more than 55 years.

She was a loving and caring wife, pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother and Christian. Eileen was often known to say “Maranatha! Even so, come Lord Jesus.”. As a child, she accepted Christ, growing her relationship with Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. She lived to help others grow in Grace and Knowledge of Jesus Christ whenever and wherever she could.

She enjoyed puzzles, reading, cross stitch, fishing, metal detecting, camping in the RV, and her cats, Bubby and Kelly. Eileen also loved a good card game, particularly when she had the opportunity to trounce her husband and sons in a round or two of crazy rummy. She played the piano beautifully, enjoying hymns, jazz, classical, and more. Her ability to transform notes on a page into pure magic to the ear inspired her grandchildren’s love of piano.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her brothers: James Robert Goff and Rev. Ronald T. Goff. She is remembered by her loving husband, Rev. Tim Storms, son, Mark Timothy Storms, and son Nathan David Storms and his wife, Lorraine. She is also survived by three grandchildren as well as the following siblings: Lois Jean Goff; Dr. Michael Goff and wife Carolyn; twin sister, Maxine Hughs and husband Herb; Mary Shindore and husband Dr. Shree Shindore; and sister-in-law, Jennie Goff. Also remembering Eileen are her many nieces and nephews.

Private service arrangements for her family are with the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, 965 Philadelphia St., Indiana, PA. Inurnment will be at the columbarium at the First English Lutheran Church, Mansfield, OH.
