Obituary for Frank Andrew Pappal Jr.
Frank Andrew Pappal, Jr., 81, of Marion Center, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Indiana. Born February 4, 1938 in Dixonville, he was a son of the late Frank Pappal, Sr. and Mary (Kostryk) Pappal.
He went to Marion Center High School. He later worked 33 years at Greensteel and then Polyvision in Dixonville, retiring in 1995.
Frank loved the outdoors and going for long walks. He looked forward to family gatherings and holidays. He was a very kind hearted man who was easy to please. He never said an unkind word about anyone.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Dixonville.
Frank is survived by his three siblings: Nancy Collesar (Jim), Marion Center; Steve Pappal (Janice), Pensacola, FL and John Pappal (Kay), Indiana. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Pappal.
At the request of the deceased, a private graveside service will be held at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Dixonville. No other services will be held.
