Obituary for Harold J. Campbell Jr.
Harold J. Campbell, Jr., 66, of Clymer, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. He was born, July 10, 1953 in Indiana, to Annabelle (Sutter) Campbell, and the late Harold J. Campbell, Sr.
Harold was a true outdoorsmen, he loved to go fishing and camping whenever he had the chance. He also enjoyed telling stories, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Gregory Campbell of Starford, Curtis Campbell of Arbutus, MD; and Chanel Campbell and husband Mike of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren: Timothy James Campbell and Aubrey Campbell; his siblings: Thomas Campbell and wife Sue of Indiana; Sharon Coy and husband Dave of Flinton, PA; Robert Campbell and wife Andrea of Stephens City, VA; Patricia States and husband Russell of Indiana; Deborah Holby and husband Ronald of Strongstown; Bonnie Mountain and husband Roy of Seward; Denice Altemus and husband Jeffrey of Penn Run; John Campbell of Chambersburg; Charlie Campbell and wife Jolene of Hollidaysburg; Donald Campbell of Indiana; and Scott Campbell of Warren, OH. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and their children. He is also survived by his ex-wife Helen Campbell of Lancaster.
In addition to his father, Harold is preceded in death by his niece, Jessica, and his nephew, Bryce.
Friends will be received at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer on Monday, November 4th, 2019, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, with his funeral service immediately following. Pastor Steve Rearick will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Campbell family asks that memorial donations be made to the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home to help with Harold’s final expenses: 655 Franklin Street, Clymer, PA 15728
