Obituary for Howard Ronald Cramer
Howard Ronald Cramer, 59, of Penn Run, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born, May 29, 1959 in Cleveland Ohio, he is a son of Ronald J. Cramer and Dolores (Beer) Cramer of Penn Run. For the past thirty years he’s been married to Julie Ann (Harbison) Cramer. Together they raised two sons.
Howie was a 1977 graduate of Penns Manor High School. Early on he worked at the Twin Oaks Farm, which was his family’s farm in Penn Run. Later he was a co-owner of the Penn Run Quarry. He then became the owner and operator of the Penn Run Trucking Company.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, entering tractor pull competitions and cleaning his trucks. Most of all, Howie loved spending time with his family and friends.
He and his wife have attended services at the Laurel Swamp Union Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he’ll be missed by his two sons, Jason Ronald Cramer and Jared Allan Cramer (fiancé, Ashley Pearl Legas), both of Penn Run. He is also survived by his brother, Andy G. Cramer (Melissa), Penn Run.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Murry and Vernie Cramer and by his maternal grandparents, Glenn Howard Beer and Josephine Beer.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The Cramer Family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
