Obituary for Jeffrey Allen Kline

Jeffrey Allen Kline, 66, of Edinburg, passed away peacefully at The Grove of New Castle on February 9, 2022. Born June 21, 1955 in New Castle, he was a beloved son of Robert Kline and Donna (Clinger) Kline, of Edinburg.

Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Mohawk High School. After graduation, Jeff attended the New Castle School of Trades where he became an electrician. He worked for Marino Electric for 20 years, and Chris Levitt Electric for 15 years.

Truly a heart of gold, Jeff would have done anything for anyone. Always willing to lend a hand to family and friends or even complete strangers. Nothing made his day more than making someone smile or laugh. He was a dedicated and vocal fan of all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. He liked going to sporting events, long walks outside, talking and telling stories, and he loved every dog he ever met, specifically his buddy Ranger. Most importantly, he loved being surrounded by his family and good friends, who all loved him just as much and will miss him dearly.

Jeff’s faith was very important to him, he attended New Hope Wesleyan Church in New Castle for many years and he loved his church family like his own. He enjoyed helping with the sound system there and being involved in any church activities.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Sara Eckels (Cory), of New Wilmington. Jeff will also be missed by his siblings: Cindy McGowan, of Portersville; Linda Gearhart, of Dubois; Kelly Fulcher (Clayton), of Loganville, GA; Tracy Kline, of Edinburg; and Jodi Allison (James), of Edinburg. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Bobby and PJ Kline; and his brother-in-law, James McGowan.

In accordance with Jeff’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. His final resting place will be Mt. Zion Cemetery in Clarion County. The Kline family is being assisted by Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society in honor of Jeff’s love for animals: 628 Pearson Mill Rd, New Castle, PA 16101.
