Obituary for Julie Anne Petras
Julie Anne (McClinsey) Petras, 45, of Commodore, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home.
Born January 31, 1978 in Stow, Ohio. she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marian (Twigg) McClinsey. She was the wife of Mark Petras, whom she married September 22, 2001.
Julie loved arts and crafts. She found joy in painting and making things for other people. She cherished her girl time with her daughter Madison, as well as spending time with her family and friends, especially Mark and Madison. Julie also enjoyed moving furniture, sleeping, and shopping.
Julie was a graduate of Stow Monroe Falls High School. She was a homemaker and previously employed at Diamond Drug and Sally’s Beauty Supply in Indiana as well as Anew Home Health in Clymer. She was a member of the East Mahoning Baptist Church in Purchase Line.
In addition to her husband Mark, she is survived by her daughter, Madison Petras of Commodore. She is also survived by her siblings: Arthur Eugene “Sonny” McClinsey Jr. (Heather), of Hudson, OH; Tina “Big Baddy” McClinsey of Stow, OH and David “Toby” McClinsey (Leslie), of Mogador, OH. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brady Anthony Petras; and infant daughter, Kaylonnie.
Friends will be received Wednesday, February 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Clymer, 655 Franklin Street. Her funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Sauers will officiate. Interment will follow at the East Mahoning Cemetery, Purchase Line.
