Obituary for Linda Marie Janosko (Clawson)

Linda Marie Clawson Janosko, 71, passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her family, Friday, February 8, 2019.

Born, June 14, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Anna Margaret Sullinger.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Janosko, whom she married 45 years ago this month, along with her children: Donald Barnes (Aurora) of Murphreesboro, TN; Jeanie Enriquez (Lorenzo) of El Paso, TX; Judith Clark (Lonnie) of Copperas Cove, TX; Tonya Mayfield (Michael) of Louisville, TN; Tom Janosko Jr. (Jen) of Homer City; and one step-son Thomas Cain of Oregon. She will also be missed by her 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and the following siblings: sisters, Sue Gamble, Judy Long, Phylis Muir, Vicky Clawson and brothers, Joe Thaler, Jim Chickas, and Clifford Clawson. Linda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Zentis and Elizabeth Chickas and one brother, Charles Clawson.

Linda was a veteran who honorably served in the United States Armed Services. She worked 18 years for Family Planning in Indiana, several years in Physiotherapy, and several years at the 4th Street Sheetz in Indiana. Linda also enjoyed volunteering on election days at the voting booth at Mack Park.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, February 10th from 5 until 7 PM, the time of her funeral service at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Indiana. Rev. Michael Mayfield, her son-in-law, will officiate. Interment arrangements are private.
