Obituary for Ronald R. Farino
Ronald R. Farino, 90, of Penn Run, died at Indiana Regional Medical Center October 25, 2023. Born November 6, 1932 in Marsteller, Cambria County, he was a son of the late Robert J. Farino and Mary (Wenturine) Farino. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Thelma E. (Kline) Farino, whom he married June 2, 1956.
Ron served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged as a Sergeant. He was a member of the Clymer American Legion Post 222, who will provide Military Honors.
Ron was the Global Equipment Manager for Inquip Corporation in McLean VA. When he was not traveling for work, he was the owner and operator of Farino Farms in Nokesville, Virginia where he raised Charolais and Angus cattle. Ron was also very active in the Virginia Farm Bureau where he served as a past Legislative Director.
He was a member of Church of the Resurrection, Clymer.
Along with his wife Thelma, he is survived by his siblings: Deanna Buterbaugh, of Northern Cambria; Frank Farino (Dorothy), of Washington, PA; and Jovida Kirsch (Patrick), of Northern Cambria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his infant sister, Antoinette, his sister Mary Olga Melograne and his brother Robert J. Farino.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 30th at 11AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer, Rev James Morley Celebrant. Interment will be held at a later date.
The Farino family is being served by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Clymer.
