Obituary for Steve Ray Shelkey
Steve Ray Shelkey, 56, of Indiana, formerly of Vandergrift, died Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Born, October 5, 1964, he was a son of Lloyd Eugene Shelkey, of Olathe, OK and Elsie Lee (McLaughlin) Yockey, of Adrian.
He graduated from Kiski Area High School and worked as a machinist in the tool manufacturing industry.
Steve enjoyed cooking and was a NASCAR fan who followed Dale Ernhardt and Dale Ernhardt, Jr. as well as the Philadelphia Eagles.
Steve is survived by his parents; children Ryan Shelkey (Elizabeth); Caylee Hill (Dan); Lyndee Lavrinc (Brandon) and Destiny Shelkey. His surviving siblings include: Debbie Shelkey, David Shelkey, Donald Shelkey, Susan Greene, Michael Shelkey, Laura Bowser and Kenna Boylstein. He is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Mrasz.
The family is being served by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Indiana.
