Obituary for Troy L Langham

Troy L Langham, 52 of Lucernemines, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at his home with family by his side, after a seventeen month battle with Stage 4 Glioblastoma.

Troy was born, May 6th, 1971 and raised in Bolivar. He was the son of the late Edward and Cleo (Horner) Langham, and was the middle sibling to his sisters, Jill Sherba of Dilltown, and Beth Bollinger of Blairsville.

Troy was the owner of Langham Timber Frames, who built well known structures such as the former Coventry Inn of Indiana and The Roost Event Center of Mahaffey, where he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.

While building the Coventry Inn, he met his wife Rosemarie (Shock) Langham to which they had 3 children: Jonathan Langham of Indiana, Garrett Langham of Pittsburgh, and Lauren Petley of San Antonio, TX.

Troy enjoyed spending his time working on various projects at his workshop in Bolivar, riding his motorcycle with friends and family, and making apple butter out of a copper kettle, a long-lived family tradition.

His family would like to thank everyone who has cared for or sent thoughtful prayers and messages throughout his battle. He was truly loved beyond words and will be missed so very much by so many.

Visitation is Thursday, January 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana, 625 Philadelphia St. His funeral, a Blessing Service, will begin Friday morning, January 19th at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Indiana. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, Lucernemines.
