Obituary for William Joseph Davis
William Joseph Davis, 65 of Commodore, died unexpectedly at his home, Saturday, February 22, 2020. Born February 27, 1954 in Indiana, he was a son of the late Clarence A. Davis and Mary J. (Hess) Davis.
Bill is survived by his siblings: Betty Jane Goss, Commodore; Mary Gearhart, Indiana; Elma Roberts, Fayetteville, NC; Shirley Ressler, Creekside; James Davis, Penn Run and Wilda Keith, Commodore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Marie Blystone and Violet Carroll, and by his brother, Robert A. Davis.
There will be a visitation with Bill's family from 11-1, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Starford Holiness Church, 95 Railroad St., Starford. Rev. Darl Dishong will officiate. A private burial of his cremated remains will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Cremation at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home Crematory is under the direction of the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
