William Lawson Jr. “Bud”, 57, of Indiana, drank his last drink, March 2, 2022, at his home. He was born June 6, 1964 in Indiana, to William Lawson Sr. and Betty Gail (Glance) Lawson.
Bud enjoyed being outside & keeping busy. He was always up for a good time & a good laugh. Bud was usually found hanging with friends or working with Zach when he wasn't with his family. He had a Just Do It kind of attitude and lived life his way by his rules. His family and friends were always in his heart. He spent his days helping anyone, anytime, anyhow he could. Bud is well known in the Indiana area for mowing, yardwork, and just helping in general.
Bud will be missed by his daughter, Linda Lawson (Eugene Findley); who gave him 3 very loved grandbabies, Ian, Theo, and Ava Mae. Along with his grandpuppy, Gio, who as was a Christmas gift to the kids. Bud cared for Dana, Amber, and Damien Findley, like his own, and he spent many holidays and celebrations with Willie and Sebastian Brown. Bud will also be remembered by his siblings: Connie and Jerry “Grif” Griffen, of Homer City; Skip and Betsy Lawson, of Homer City; and Matt and Beth Lawson, of Indiana. There are many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends that called him Uncle Bud. You know who you are, Bud loves you all, please keep his memory alive.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lawson; beloved grandma, Olive Guiste; niece, Mindy Griffen; and his first granddaughter, Brianna Jean Lawson.
There isn't a place you can go without running into someone who knows my dad. He will be missed every second of everyday. Please, everyone, share your stories and pictures in the Facebook group: Remembering Bud Lawson.
I hope his death reminds people to slow down and take time to love your family and friends while they are with you. REST in Peace BUD.
Service arrangements are private. The Lawson family is being assisted by Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana.
