Obituary for David Fulton Sr.

David James Fulton, Sr., 67, of Commodore, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Buffington Township on July 19, 1949, he was a son of the late Irvin Fulton and Rose (Patterson) Fulton. He was married to Terri L. (Hutchinson) Fulton.

David was a gas well tender who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and spending time at his hunting camp. He also enjoyed attending stock car races at Marion Center Speedway (222 Jeffery Sweeny). David was a member of the East Run Sportsman’s Club.

In addition to his wife, David will be remembered by his children: David J. Fulton, Jr. (Jill), Creekside; Keri Fulton, Altoona; Levi Fulton, Kristin Craig and Kevin Craig, all of Commodore. He is also survived by six grandchildren and the following siblings: Charles, Richard, Bill, Roger, Samuel and George Fulton, and Mary Alice Trese, Anna Frederick and Jane Shaffer,

David was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Irvin Fulton and Veronica Fulton and three siblings: Margaret, Mildred and Eugene Fulton.

There will be no public visitation for David. His family is hosting a memorial service Sunday afternoon, January 15th at 1:00 PM at the East Run Sportsman’s Club in East Run. The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer is assisting with the service arrangements.
