Obituary for Andrew & Garrett Stancombe
Andrew Donovan Lee Stancombe and Garrett Lee Donovan Stancombe, infant twin sons of Michelle L. Van Horne and Kody D. Stancombe of Indiana, died at their home on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Born in Johnstown on April 10, 2014 the boys were nearly two and a half months old. They courageously battled the obstacles associated with living as conjoined twins.
In addition to their parents, the boys are survived by their brother, Riley Van Horne. Indiana: Other survivors include their grandparents: maternal grandfather, Robert Van Horne, Plumville; paternal grandmother, Donna Walters, Pittsburgh; and paternal grandfather, Eric Long, Rural Valley.
The twins were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Twila (Rhoades) Van Horne and paternal great grandfather, Jack Stancombe, Sr.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A funeral service will begin at eight o’clock Thursday evening at the funeral home. VNA Hospice Chaplain, Pastor Tom Spiker will officiate. A private interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to the Andrew & Garrett Stancombe Fund at the PNC Bank in Downtown Indiana.
