Obituary for Ann Steve (Petras)

Ann  Steve (Petras)
Ann (Petras) Steve, 96 of Clymer, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Scenery Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Indiana. Born in Wilgus, May 21, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Mike Petras and Mary (Surgant) Petras.

She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She especially loved working in her garden and cooking for her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons: Tom Steve, Indiana and Michael Steve and wife, Nancy, Greensburg. Other surviving family members include her sisters: Julia Horvath, Indiana and Peggy Hospodar, Alexandria, VA. Her grandchildren are: Greg Steve and wife, Gina, Upper St. Clair; Doug Steve and wife, Julie, Indiana; Matt Steve, Laguna Niguel, CA; Kelly Bickel and husband, John, Phoenixville, PA; Michele Rosborough and husband, Chad, McDonald, PA; Michael Steve and wife, Jennifer, Glenshaw; Matthew Steve and wife, Amanda, Pittsburgh and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas A. Steve who died, September 14, 2012. She was also preceded by her siblings: Mary Koches, Helen Kovalchick and John, George, Mike, Pete and Steve Petras. Her daughter-in-law, Sara Lou Steve also preceded her.

Friends will be received Tuesday, October 18th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. Father Anthony Klimko, celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
