Obituary for Anna M. Czar
Anna M. (Legoskey) Czar, 92 of Mentcle, PA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home.
The daughter of Stanley T. and Mary H. (Krolick) Legoskey, she was born on February 25, 1923 in Grassflat at home. Ann was a member of the Church of The Resurrection, Clymer.
She worked in a trumble plant making light bulbs and as a housekeeper at the Indiana Hospital. She then cleaned houses for several close friends, doctors and at the St. Anthony’s Church.
Ann loved to cook and bake. As well as raising her own two children she raised her two grandchildren, George and Tammy. She was a wonderful woman and would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her son George A. Czar of Northern Cambria; an adopted daughter, Barbra Peace of Erie; her grandchildren; George B. Czar and wife Kate of Northern Cambria; Tammy L. Wensel of Mentcle; Lori Wilson of Leechburg,
Trina Shultz of Northern Cambria; Tracey Kromer of Clymer; Amanda “Gig” Czar of Clymer; George Lambing of Erie; Elizabeth Czar of Texas; Jody Peace of Erie; and many great grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Czar whom she was married to for 62 years; an infant baby girl Mary; brothers, Steve and Paul Legoskey, and sister, Cathrine Saunders.
Friends will be received on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, at 10 a.m. at the Church of The Resurrection, Clymer. Interment will be private.
