Obituary for Betty Marie Levis (Myers)
PrintShe was the daughter of Steven and Dorothy (Kuhn) Myers, born on May 5, 1922 in Fallentimber, PA.
Betty was adored by her family. She loved hosting all of the family gatherings. Her family was her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Betty was always ready to shop.
She is survived by five children, Jack and wife Linda of Mahaffey, PA; Bill and wife Lucille of Parma, Ohio; Bob and wife Nancy of Heilwood, PA; Gary and wife Terry of Heilwood, PA; Malinda Levis of Penn Run, PA; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Blanche Strahlo of FL.
Also surviving are the special people that blessed her life, Jodi Solito, who she considered her second daughter, and her life-long friends, Dorothy Beilchick and Jean Polenik.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Reno Levis; three sisters, Margaret Coccia; Roberta Krise; Juanita Divinny; three brothers, Chalmer, Steven and Donald.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will be on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Little, officiating. Interment will follow in the McDowell Cemetery.
