Betty Marie  Myers (Harper)
Betty Marie (Harper) Myers, 85 of Clymer, PA., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her home.

She was the daughter of William and Jessie (St. Clair) Harper, born on March 7, 1928 in Commodore, PA.

Betty Graduated from Clymer High School in 1945. She was a member of the Clymer United Methodist Church where she played the organ and piano for 56 years. Betty also served as the president of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by five sons, John D. Myers Jr. and wife Patricia of Indiana, PA; William A. Myers and wife Wanda of Clymer, PA; James S. Myers and wife Carrie of Indiana, PA; Scott H. Myers and wife Traci of Middletown, PA; Mark E. Myers and wife Amy of York, PA.; two brothers, John Harper of Indiana, PA; Ronald Harper of Clymer, PA; 15 grandchildren, Shannon, LaDawn, Julie, Joel, Elise, Rebecca, Jordan, Alexis, Brittany, Marcus, Jake, Cortland, Nikki, Shannon and Aaron; 10 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Maddie, Gracie, Johnny, Anthony, Emma, Konnor, Kaylla, Sienna, and Piper; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John D. Myers whom she married on October 18, 1949 and passed away November 11, 1995; two sisters, Evelyn Long and Dorothy DiFilippo; two brothers, George Harper and Bill Harper.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Additional visitation will be on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Clymer United Methodist Church with her funeral service following at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brian Keller, officiating. Interment will be private.
