Obituary for Brenda Mae Shirley (Shields)
Brenda Mae Shirley, 51, Indiana, died Monday, February 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving husband of 35 years, Timothy C. Shirley Sr. and her family.
Brenda was born on October 31, 1964 to the late Milton Shields and Theresa (Nagg) Shields.
She worked at various establishments including McDonald’s, Sheetz, and 9th St. Deli. She always had a smile and a positive attitude.
Brenda is survived by her husband, as well as her sons Timothy Jr. (Brandy) and their two lovely daughters Tessa Mae and Madeline Isabella of Indiana; Travis (Jallene) of Brush Valley. Also surviving are her brother Terry Shields Sr. (Tina), sisters Ellen Gullace and Cindy Shields and partner Ken Karpik Sr., all of Indiana; mother-in-law Sarah Shirley of Indiana; and her three canine companions Bandit, Zeke, and Hezekiah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Vincent (Pidgy) Shields; brother-in-law Joe Gullace; father-in-law Robert E. Shirley. She was also preceded in death by three canine companions: Esther, Tizzy, and Ruby.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2nd from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Her funeral service will be held Thursday morning at eleven o’clock at the funeral home with pastor Philip Mack. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
