Obituary for Carl "Zug" Pitzerell
Carl “Zug” Pitzerell of Shelocta died October 26, 2016. He was born February 1, 1932 in Ernest. He attended Indiana High School.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Vira Elizabeth; father Carl Pitzerell; five brothers; and five sisters.
He enjoyed golfing, singing, and playing the piano. He was a member of the American Legion, Indiana VFW, and Boilermaker of Local 154.
He is survived by his loving wife Bette Elaine Pitzerell, four daughters; Carla Coulter & husband David Coulter; Peggy Johansson & husband Brian Johansson; Jackee Pitzerell Hawk & husband Jerry Hawk; and Michelle McCombs & husband Barry McCombs. Grandchildren include: Robert Boyer; Jessica Johansson; Krista McIntire & fiancé Michael Rudd; Kourtney McIntire; Hannah Coulter; Jared McCombs and Jordan McCombs. Great Grandchildren include: Kameron & Kaleb Rudd; and Bae Velovic.
Services will be held at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana Saturday October 29, 2016. A visitation will be held from 2:00PM-5:00PM with a funeral service at 5:00PM with Pastor Tom Spiker officiating.
