Obituary for Della Fae Cummins (Black)

Della Fae  Cummins (Black)
Della Fae (Black) Cummins, 83, of Indiana, died Monday morning, March 14, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. The daughter of the late, Charles McKinley Black and Alverda Lorella (Faith) Black, she was born in Center Township, Indiana County on September 30, 1932.

Della was a graduate of Indiana High School. She married Wayne Robert Cummins and worked from her home caring for her family. She helped to raise two children, a daughter, Donna and a son, Roger.

She enjoyed the company of her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Donna Fae Harper and husband, Norman, Blairsville and Roger Lee Cummins, Indiana. Grandchildren: Wayne Harper and wife, Carrie, Blairsville and Karen Magalich and husband, Dan, Avonmore. Great grandchildren: Kailyn Magalich, Avonmore; McKenzie Harper, Blairsville; and Owen Magalich, Avonmore. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Barr, Marion Center and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Della was preceded in death by her siblings: Bill Black; Max Black; Charles Edward Black.; Clair W. Black; David R. Black and Melva E. Black.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 16th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana, where visitation will also be held Thursday morning from 10 – 11AM at the funeral home. Her funeral will begin at eleven o’clock Thursday morning with the Rev. Brett Dinger officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, next to her beloved husband, Wayne.
