Obituary for Dennis L. Bennett
Dennis L. Bennett, 66 of Mentcle, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown, PA.
He was the son of Edson and Florence (Boring) Bennett, born on July 10, 1948 in Spangler, PA.
Dennis liked to listen to Oldies music, go camping and playing the lottery. His joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon (Woodley) Bennett; two daughters, Sherrie Somogyi and husband Terry and Tammy Ringler and husband Charles all of Mentcle; six grandchildren, Tyler, Mathew and Dylan Somogyi, Katie, Travis and Isabella Bennett; one sister, Joan White and husband Bob of Marion Center; two step-sisters, Becky Zimmerman and Arlene Weaver and husband Denny.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jody and Jamie Bennett; one brother, Edson Bennett Jr.
Friends will be received on Sunday April 26, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer, his memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
