Obituary for Edward Rushnok
Edward Rushnok age 71, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Hospice House of North Central Ohio.
On September 15, 1943 in Arcadia, PA., Mr. Rushnok was born to Metro and Evelyn (Lutzic) Rushnok. He had been a resident of Ashland the past 10 years. Mr. Rusnok worked as a steel worker with former Bethlehem Steel Company retiring after 35 years of employment. He served with the US Air Force and was a member of Ashland American Legion Post #88.
On September 2, 1967, Mr. Rushnok married Frances Cooper who survives. Also surviving are a son, Raymond (Tracey) Rushnok of Lacrosse, Indiana; a daughter, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Cameron of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 4 sisters: Ellen (Ken) Prigg of FL., Kathy (Shelby) Stanton of MD., Patricia (James) Hammond of N.Y., and Barbara (Howard) Franklin of N.Y. Mr. Rushnok was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 from 10-11AM at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home in Clymer, PA. His funeral service will begin at 11AM. Interment will be at St. Michaels Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery in Clymer.
In Ohio, friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, OH.
The family suggest memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s name to Ashland Co. Cancer Association, 380 E. 4th St., Ashland, OH., 44805 or Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH., 44805.
