Eileen K.  (Yoder) Brader (Kyle)
Eileen Kyle Yoder Brader, 91, of Westmont, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born, February 18, 1924 in Johnstown to Jacob B. Kyle and Effie Blair (Kyle) Connor.

Eileen graduated from Johnstown High and later attended Indiana State Teachers College to study Home Economics. As a young woman, she worked at the FBI in Washington DC.

Eileen married Richard Dean Yoder on April 20, 1946. Her marriage took her to Dubois, Oil City, Altoona, Clearfield, Phillipsburg and back to Johnstown. During that time she taught Home Economics at Cranberry Township School District. Richard died in 2001.

In 2008, she married William Brader, of Westmont, and since that time has enjoyed 7 years of adventures with her “Captain”.

Eileen enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, playing bridge and had a great love of all animals, especially dogs. She was an active volunteer for many organizations in every community in which she lived. She was a member of Westmont Presbyterian Church, Sunnehanna Country Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Log House Quilters Guild.

She is survived by her husband, William Brader, of Westmont. In addition she is survived by her children, Carol Dick, and her husband Dr. Gregory Dick of Westmont and her son, Richard Kyle Yoder and his wife Sharon, of Colorado Springs. Her grandchildren include Gretchen (Dick) Brown and her husband Jerry of Oak Hill, WV and Sean Yoder and his wife, Laura, of Salem, Oregon. Her surviving Great Grandchildren are Brynne and Tarryn Walker of West Virginia and Seamus and Declan Yoder, of Oregon. Her surviving Brader relatives are Step-children Christopher Brader, Jonathan Brader, and Jennifer Rairigh and include 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and an infant brother, Richard.

Friends will be received at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, 1655 Menoher Blvd. on Tuesday, May 12th from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Her funeral service will be held at Westmont Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 13th at 11 AM, the Rev. Craig Miller presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Prayers and Squares quilting program at Westmont Presbyterian Church or to the Westmont Presbyterian Memorial Fund 601 Luzerne Street, Johnstown, PA 15905.
