Obituary for Evelyn Louise Davis (Berdosky)

Evelyn Louise (Berdosky) Davis, 81 of Clymer, PA., went to live with the Lord on October, 25, 2014. She was the daughter of Joseph and Matilda (Kocopi) Berdosky, born in Buck Run, PA.

Evelyn graduated from Clymer High School. She was a member of the Clymer Fireman’s Auxilary for 60 years, and ICCAP volunteer. Evelyn was a meter attendant in Clymer for over 20 years and was an avid Steelers fan and a proud supporter of the former Jo’s softball team. She enjoyed listening to polka music. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Evelyn and her personality will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by three children, LaVonne Jarvie; Demita Jo Greene and husband Garry; Shonn Berdosky; seven grandchildren, Teala Dalfonso; Nathan Jarvie; Kyle Jarvie: Kelsie Jarvie; Kaylie Jarvie; Briana Greene; Spc. Garry B. Greene; 11 great-grandchildren, Logan, Courtney, Colton, Ceyara, Skyler, Melia, Brianna, Brenden, Brayden, Brooke, and Ethan; one sister, Virginia Smrek of Salamanca, NY.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Betty, Marie, and Joanne.

Services will be private. The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer has been entrusted in handling the arrangements.
