Obituary for Genevieve M. Stupic (Mirolak)

Genevieve M.  Stupic (Mirolak)
Genevieve Marie (Mirolak) Stupic, 84, of Heilwood, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Barnesboro, January 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John Mirolak and Margaret (Lescinsky) Mirolak. She was the wife of Flory J. Stupic. They were married August 13, 1955.

Genevieve enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood.

In addition to her husband of 59 years she is survived by her 4 children: Connie Sgriccia & husband, Tom, Clymer; Raymond Stupic & wife, Debora (Cunkelman), Penn Run; Jennifer Gaydosh, Homer City and Mark Stupic & wife, Linda (Kensey), Penn Run. She has 8 surviving grandchildren: Michael Sgriccia; Christina Lieb & husband, Greg; John and Clayton Stupic; Megan and Andrew Gaydosh; Parker and Emilie Stupic.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Stupic and the following siblings: Anne, Margaret, John, Joe, Mary, Agnes and Rita.

Visitation is Friday, January 23rd from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood. Rev. Father George Saletrik, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery at Camerons Bottom.
