Obituary for George Patrick

George Patrick, 58 of Coal Run, PA., passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was the son of George (Sam) and Helen (Schroth) Patrick, born on December 5, 1955 in Indiana, PA.

George was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. He was a member at the C & Y sportsman club. George graduated from Apollo-Ridge High School and attended welding school. He was employed by R&P Coal, Indiana County Transit Authority, and Superior Well Services. George was an avid outdoorsmen and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy (Pirone) Patrick; two children, Sam Patrick and wife Tre; Stacy Lippert and husband Nick; one sister, Nancy Patrick; and his best friend Charlie.

George was preceded in death by his parents.

At the family’s request there will be no public visitation. His memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. A celebration of George’s life will follow the Mass in the church hall.
