Grace M.  Pollock (Kent)
Grace Mae Pollock, 101, of Indiana, PA died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana. The daughter of Joseph and Edna Young Kent, she was born on January 4, 1914 in Rimersburg, Clarion County. Grace resided in Clarion, Elderton and Indiana, PA. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Indiana for many years.

She was also a member, and served as Noble Grand, of the Silver Star Rebekah Lodge No. 67 and Journey of a Lifetime Bible study. She and her husband enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the United States. They were members of the Golden Camper and National Fan Trailer Club. She also enjoyed crocheting, trying new recipes and baking special decorative cakes and chocolate covered Easter eggs for many years for her family.

Survivors include: her son, Dr. Larry R. Pollock, his wife, Susan, Apollo, PA; Three grandchildren: Lisa Powers and her husband, Sean of Saltsburg; Brian Pollock and his wife, Amie, of Latrobe; and Jeneane Kehew and her husband, Corey, of Saltsburg. Great grandchildren: Sean Patrick Powers, Colton Powers and his wife, Sarah; Taylor Pollock; Nathan Pollock; Kennedy Grace Kehew and Carlyn Kehew. She is also survived by her sisters: Ruth Guntrum of Sanford, FL and Delores McKissick and her husband Jay of Venus, PA and one cousin, Joe Guntrum of San Bernadine, CA along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, with whom she was married for 54 years, four brothers, William Kent, Huey Kent, Joseph Kent and Ralph Kent, and two sisters: Dorcus Hogan and Beatrice Steadman.

Friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 PM Friday, November 6th at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Her funeral service will be held Saturday morning at eleven o’clock at the funeral home. Pastor Adam Stump will officiate. Private interment will be made at the Church Hill Cemetery in Church Hill, PA.
