Obituary for Helen L. Blystone (Peace)
Helen L. (Peace) Blystone, 64 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Glenn and Elizabeth (Bagley) Peace, born on November 24, 1949 in Indiana, PA.
Helen retired from housekeeping at Rose Haven Nursing Home. She enjoyed racing, derby’s and going to flea markets with her husband. Helen loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Francis M. Blystone of Clymer; six children, Karen Hill and husband William of Clymer; Nancy Isenberg of Penn Run; Ken Blystone of Marion Center; Patty Long and husband Tom of Clymer; Tom Blystone and wife Loretta of Homer City; Brenda Hill and husband Walt of Penn Run; two step-children, Kim Parson of OH; Kevin Blystone of Penn Run; 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Debra Sturgeon and husband Frank of Barr Slope; Sandra Crook and husband Phil of Creekside; Sondra Ooten of Ernest; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, one step-son, Francis Blystone and several brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Prewitt Duncan, officiate. Interment will be made in the Sample Run Cemetery, Clymer.
