Obituary for Helen B. Gaydosh (Britsky)

Helen (Britsky) Gaydosh, 89, of Clymer, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Andrew Gaydosh, who died November 9, 1981.

She was born, May 28, 1926, in Wehrum, to the late Mike and Helen (Holochuck) Britsky.

She was a graduate of the former Clymer High School. She worked for the US Postal service in Indiana for nearly 10 years. She was also a homemaker.

Helen served in the Navy during the Korean War.

She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Clymer.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea O. Smith, with whom she lived, daughter Lisa A. Gaydosh, of Los Angeles, CA and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Gaydosh of Clymer. Her grandson, Corey A. Smith (Amylyn Mirocco), of Harrisburg, also survives her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Andrew, son, Robert A. Gaydosh, as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Her service and interment will be private. She will be buried in St. Michael's Cemetery in Clymer.
