Obituary for Helen M. Meshanko (Zbignewich)

Helen M. (Zbignewich) Meshanko, 88, of Clymer, PA., passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Communities of Indian Haven.

She was the daughter of Adam and Zabina (Sadzikowska/Sciera) Zbignewich, born on June 30, 1925 in Ernest, PA.

Helen was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer and the Christian Mothers Society. She was a sales clerk for Ash’s Shoe Store and Levinson’s Department Store. Helen was a loving wife and aunt.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John A. Meshanko of Clymer; one brother, Frank Zbignewich of Indiana and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Adam and Edward Zbignewich.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer with her Mass being celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. George Saltrik, celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Clymer.
