Wednesday June 19, 2013, Jacob Randall Guthrie of Round Rock, Texas, died. He was born on February 1, 1992 in Fairfax, Virginia. He graduated from Stony Point High School in Round Rock and was a member of the Rugby team.

He leaves behind his parents Randall L. Guthrie, Jr. and Mary Catherine Guthrie, as well as his siblings, Aubrey Lynn Guthrie, (19) and Jeffrey Robert, (18), of Indiana, Pennsylvania. He also leaves behind his Great Grandmother Dorothy A. Byers of Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Grandparents Randall L. Guthrie and Betsy A. Guthrie of Mineral Springs, Pennsylvania and Eugene P. Dessureau and Miriam F. Dessureau of Bethesda, Maryland. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial service is planned the date and location to be determined. Jacob will always be remembered for his laugh and smile, his off-beat sense of humor, his great appreciation for all kinds of music and his willingness to help others.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a small donation to JDRF instead, by visiting jdrf.org, because he was a type-1 diabetic, (insulin dependent), from the age of three.j
