He is the son of Dennis L and Elizabeth Sharon (Woodley) Bennett, born on November 28, 1973 in Spangler, PA.
Jody is survived by his parents, Dennis L. and Elizabeth Sharon Bennett of Mentcle; three children, Katie and Travis Bennett of Mentcle and Isabella Bennett of Belsano; two sisters, Sherrie Somogyi and husband Terry; three nephews, Tyler, Mathew and Dylan; and Tammy Bennett all of Mentcle.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Bennett his grandparents, Joseph and Mary Woodley and Edson Bennett and Florence Wilson and one uncle, Edson Bennett Jr.
Family and friends may attend a gathering in celebration of Jody’s life on June 5, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. at the home of his parents. The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer is handling the arrangements.
