Obituary for John F. Baker

John Francis Baker, 88, of Indiana, died August 11, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born March 30, 1928 in Spangler. Cambria County, he was a son of the late Amandus and Gertrude (Fuller) Baker.

John was a painter. He was an avid collector and volunteered for the Salvation Army.

John is survived by his daughter Robin L. Baker, of Indiana. He is also survived by siblings Gladys, LaVaughn, and Donna. Two grandchildren, Judy Baker and Arthur Ferrara, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

No service will be held at this time. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
