Obituary for John C. Witherow
John C. Witherow, 82 of Clymer, PA., passed away on August 7, 2014 at his home.
He was the son of Robert and Clara (Kruise) Witherow, born on February 8, 1932 in Clearfield, Co., Chest, Twp.
John was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer site. He worked for S.W.A.N.K. in Clymer and also Robertshaw and Season All in Indiana. John was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by two sons, John Witherow and wife Paula of Clymer; Terry Witherow and wife Joanne of Indiana; one daughter, Cynthia Polosky and husband Steve of Clymer; four grandchildren, Melissa Prohovic and husband Randy; Terry Witherow and wife Erica; Jennifer Witherow; Stephanie Brilhart and husband James; two great grandsons, Brady and Nicolas; one great granddaughter, Kylie; one sister, Katherine Rodgers of Leesburg, VA; one brother, Dale Witherow of Olympia, WA.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Grace M. (Super) Witherow in 2008; and one sister, Joanne Witherow and one brother, Robert L. Witherow.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11 at 10 a.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer with the Rev. Timothy J. Kruthaupt, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Clymer.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to VNA Hospice of Indiana, 850 Hospital Rd., Suite 3000, Indiana, PA., 15701.
