Obituary for Josephine Antoinette Morganti
Josephine “Josie Ann” Anntoinette Morganti, 71, of Indiana, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Sugar Creek Rest, nursing facility in Worthington. Born May 7, 1945 in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Morganti and Josephine (Zoffuto) Morganti.
Josie Ann was a 1964 graduate of the Indiana Area Senior High School. She then attended the Indiana Beauty Academy. Later she worked for Robertshaw in Indiana from 1966 to 1981. From there she worked six years in Johnstown at the Hiram G. Andrews Center until her retirement in 1987.
In her younger years she enjoyed fishing and dancing. As she became older, Josie Ann liked to do crafting, especially crocheting. She also enjoyed watching quiz shows and she loved the holidays. Josie Ann was mindful of others who needed some extra holiday cheer or a place to celebrate during the holiday season.
She will be missed by her brother, Joseph Eugene Morganti, Indiana; sister-in-law, Patty Morganti; niece, Teresa Morganti and great nephew, Dylan Morganti, all of Pittsburgh. She will also be remembered by her many cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Morganti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 21st at 11:00AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Indiana. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alice Paul House PO Box 417 Indiana, PA 15701.
