Obituary for Julia "Nathalie" Stupic (Leone)

Julia "Nathalie"  Stupic (Leone)
J. Nathalie (Leone) Stupic, 92, of Heilwood, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Communities at Indian Haven. She was born on March 2, 1924 in Heilwood. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Leone and Julia (Vozer) Leone. She was married to the late Thomas S. Stupic on May 22, 1954 and together they shared 25 years of marriage before his passing.

Nathalie started her career working as a company store clerk and ventured into multiple other fields. Her last employment was as a presser at the Northern Cambria shirt factory. She was also a homemaker and caregiver for her grandchildren. Nathalie volunteered her time in helping with: Ladies Altar, Rosary Society, and the Heilwood American Auxiliary Post 936.

She loved to read and watch sports, especially the Pirates and the Steelers. Nathalie enjoyed going on casino trips, card parties, and playing bingo. She also loved to garden and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by: daughter Jolene Campbell and husband Charles, Ebensburg; three grandchildren: Joshua, Joseph, and Samantha Campbell; four great grandchildren: Gianna, Carter, Everett, and Walker Campbell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Nathalie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, as well as the following siblings: Alma Patrick, Evelyn Mariskanish, Joseph and Edwin Leone.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM, at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00AM at St.Patrick Church at Camerons Bottom. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
