Obituary for LaLonie Rose Deyarmin (Burns)

LaLonie Rose (Burns) Deyarmin, 58, of Arcadia, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Born in Medina, Ohio, on May 19, 1956, she was a daughter of Guy Deyarmin and Elsie (Toddhunter) Burns. She was the widow of Franklin Deyarmin, who died October 1, 1989.

She was a homemaker who stayed enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for her dogs.

LaLonie was a 1974 graduate of Northern Cambria High School and attended two years of classes at Youngstown State University.

She will be remembered by her children: Lisa Fridley, Pennsylvania; Elsie Thompson, Arcadia; Daniel Deyarmin and wife, Becky, Northern Cambria; David Deyarmin and wife, Della, Glen Campbell; and April Swanik and husband, George, Arcadia. Surviving grandchildren are: Austin and Allesha Fridley, Megan Kime, Tasha Deyarmin, Emily Fridley, Tanya Deyarmin, Georgie Swanik V, and Justin, Winter and Hannah Swanik. Her siblings are Collin and Virginia Burns and Meline Thompson, all of Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, LaLonie was preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Deyarmin, and by her aunt and uncle who cared for her as a child, Mary and Louie Fightner.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be made in the Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale. Service arrangements are with the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Inc. of Clymer.
