Obituary for Leslie Bennett (Harris)

Leslie M. (Harris) Bennett, 45 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

She was the daughter of William and Delores (Kessler) Harris, born on October 8, 1969 in Johnstown, PA.
Leslie loved to sew and was a great baker and loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed riding motor cycles, 4 wheelers and snowmobiles. Leslie really loved couponing. She would help anyone that needed a hand. In her past time she loved working in her garden. Leslie has been a foster mother since 2005. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Walter P. “Wally” Bennett; her mother, Delores (Kessler) Harris; four children, Deidre Bennett of Johnstown; Alissa Bennett; Benjamin Bennett and Kendra Voorhies all of Clymer; one sister, Pamela Whitney and husband Kevin of South Carolina.

Leslie was preceded in death by her father, William Harris and one brother, William Harris.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral Home. The family request that all attending to please wear red which was Leslie’s favorite color. Interment will be private.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family to defray any expenses.
