Obituary for Lila Mitchell
Lila Florence (Hull) Mitchell, 81, of Indiana, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Indiana, October 9, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Martin Hull and Nancy (Adams) Hull. She was the widow of Thomas S. Mitchell who died June 12, 2014.
She was a graduate of Indiana High School. Lila was very creative and enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and outdoor projects.
She will be remembered by her daughters: Linda Mitchell & husband Richard Stinebiser, Indiana; Cindy Harbert & husband Tad, Seven Valleys; and Tracy Wintermyer & husband Patrick, Glenshaw. She is also remembered by her granddaughter, Lexie Harbert, Seven Valleys, who was the light of her life. Lila is survived by her siblings: Twila Nagg & husband Joe, Erie; Gilbert Hull & wife Joan, Erie; Ada Frederick & husband Don, Coral; Gladys Blazavich, Indiana; and Harry Hull, Indiana.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Iva Keller, Warren Hull, and Ralph Hull.
Friends will be received Sunday, November 27th from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana where her funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM Sunday. Interment will be private and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Footed Friends at 220 Beck Rd, Indiana, PA 15701 or to the Indiana County Humane Society at http://incohumanesociety.com/
