Obituary for Loretta S. Pisch

Loretta Stephanie Pisch, 73, of Indiana and formerly of Clune, died Friday, April 17, 2015 while residing at the Beacon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Indiana. She was born in Clune on April 27, 1941 and was a daughter of the late, Anthony and Mary (Noga) Pisch.

Loretta graduated from the former Elders Ridge High School and Indiana State Teachers College where she earned her degree in elementary education. She then began a 35 year career as a third grade teacher at the Derry Township Elementary School, retiring in the late 1990’s.

She enjoyed traveling with her nieces each year to see the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC. Loretta also had fond memories of her trips to Italy and New England. She loved her family and looked forward to being with her ten nieces and her five great nieces and one great nephew.

She is survived by her sister, Aldine Vyka and her husband, Frank, Lorain, OH and brother-in-laws, Michael Bertt and Vince Palowski both of Wickliffe, OH. Her ten surviving nieces are: Lori, Susan, Michele, Audrey, Debra, Patti, Kathy, Cheryl, Christine and Barbara. Her great nieces and nephew are: Lisa, Angela, Allie, Madalyn, Julia and Joseph.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Bertt and Helen Palowski. Loretta was also preceded by her great nephew, Zachary.

The family would like to thank Beacon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Hospice; friends, Louise, Ann Marie, Lou Jean, Mary, Joan and Cathy for their loving support.

There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass with Cremated Remains will be celebrated Saturday, April 25th at 11 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana. Service arrangements are with the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, P.O. Box 99, Kent, PA 15752.
