Obituary for Loretta M. Treese (Jarvie)

Loretta M.  Treese (Jarvie)
Loretta M. (Jarvie) Treese, 86 of Indiana, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Conway Medical Center, Conway, SC. She had been visiting her son Randy and his family in Myrtle Beach when she became ill.

Born in Clymer on December 30, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. Jarvie, Sr. and Goldie C. (Kunkle) Jarvie. She was the widow of William Patrick Treese, her husband of fifty-two years who died December 12, 2000.

She was a graduate of Clymer High School. She had formerly worked as a sales clerk at the Montgomery Wards and Hills Department Stores in Indiana.

Loretta was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 299 of Indiana and belonged to the Clymer Fire Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons: Larry P. Treese and wife, Linda, Camp Hill and Randy W. Treese, Myrtle Beach, SC. Her grandchildren are: Patrick Treese and wife, Beth, Gainesville, FL; Andrew Treese and wife, Bridget, Mount Joy; Suzanne Lewis and husband, Danny, Baltimore, MD; and Timothy Treese and his Fiancé, Christina, Myrtle Beach, SC. Her great grandchildren are: Camden Treese, Gainesville, FL; Dalton Treese and Anslee Treese, Mount Joy; Daniel Lewis and Baby Lewis, Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by her brother, Gary L. Jarvie, Clymer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Walter E. Jarvie, Jr. and Margaret L. Bugay.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A second visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Her funeral service will begin at eleven o’clock Thursday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
